Your first visit to Simply Facials
Your first visit starts online: choose a treatment on the booking calendar, add a card to hold the time, and fill out the intake form that arrives by email. At the appointment, Leica begins with a short skin check and a conversation about your routine and goals, then customizes your treatment from there. No deposit is charged when you book.
Booking online
Book anytime on the online booking calendar. Choose your treatment, pick an open time and add a card to hold the appointment. A card secures your visit, and no deposit is charged at booking.
Not sure which facial to choose? The 50 or The 75 is a good place to start. The 50 starts at $115 and The 75 starts at $160. Stand-alone peels are for returning clients, so if you'd like a peel on your first visit, book the "With A Peel" version of your facial.
Your intake form
After you book, you'll get a confirmation and an intake form by email. Fill it out before your visit. This is where you tell Leica about your skin, your current routine and anything she should know, such as recent sun exposure, procedures, skin reactions or active breakouts.
If you're pregnant, using prescription skincare or under a doctor's care for a skin condition, note it on the form too. Leica will adjust your treatment, and for medical questions, check with your doctor.
Finding the studio
The studio is at 1429 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd, Suite 207, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. Park behind the building. The entrance is on Oak Lane.
Try to arrive on time. If you're running late, Leica will give you the remaining time for your session, but the full service fee still applies.
What happens in the room
Your visit begins with a short skin check and a chat about your routine and goals. From there, Leica tailors the treatment to your skin that day. Every custom facial includes a double cleanse, exfoliation, extractions, serums, a customized mask, moisturizer and SPF, and longer facials add more massage and your choice of enhancements.
Before you leave is a good time to ask about aftercare or products for home. Many clients book every four to six weeks, and you can book your next visit on the calendar anytime.
A one-person studio
Simply Facials is a one-person studio. Leica is the only esthetician, so she performs every treatment herself, from your first visit on. Coming with a friend? Book two back-to-back appointments on the calendar.
